Setlistor från Metaltown

Och så är ytterligare en upplaga av Metaltown lagd till handlingarna. Årets festival har tveklöst slagit fjolåret sett till arrangemang och organisation, men har inte ståtat med en lika vass uppsättning uppträdande band. Lördagen bjussade rent generellt på vassare spelningar än fredagen, och de fyra bästa giggen - Anthrax, Adept, Slayer och Primordial - ägde alla rum under dag två. Av de demoband jag valde ut för Close-Up Magazines räkning att hålla låda på festivalen stod Imminence och Alenah för de mest imponerande spelningarna.

Notering: att Mayhems speltid flyttades en timme så att de krockade med Slayer kan vi betrakta som årets flopp. Likaså den omtalade helveteskrocken i spelschemat på lördagen, då Primordial, Mastodon och Gojira fick spela samtidigt.

På det stora hela ska jag inte hävda annat än att jag är nöjd med årets Metaltown. Och enligt traditionen som jag grundlade förra året kommer jag nedan att posta setlistor från de flesta spelningar jag såg. Samtliga listade setlistor har jag själv skrivit ned och de är därför till nittionio procent garanterat korrekta. Vissa återfinns på supersajten Setlist.fm, andra inte. Emellertid har inget hämtats därifrån, allt jobb med sammanställning har jag gjort på egen hand. Ordningen är enkel - samma ordning som spelningarna ägde rum.
